At PDFTools, we believe your privacy is not for sale. Unlike most online PDF services, we have built our platform with a privacy-first architecture.

1. No File Storage

All tool processing happens 100% locally in your web browser. When you upload a file, it is read into your computer's memory, processed by our JavaScript code, and then prompt for download. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.

2. Data Security

Since we do not store files, there is no risk of your sensitive documents being leaked from our database. We do not collect personal information, email addresses, or document content.

3. Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal, non-intrusive cookies only to save your theme preferences (Dark/Light mode) and basic, anonymous analytics to improve site performance. We do not use advertising trackers.

4. Third-Party Libraries

We use standard, open-source libraries like PDF-Lib and PDF.js. These libraries are loaded via secure CDNs. No data is shared with these third parties during the processing of your files.
